What does it do?
This display clock lets you see at a glance where you are in the GQ cycle in Ableton. It works with 1,2,4, and 8 bar settings. NOTE: The bar setting within the device must be a multiple of the current GQ setting in Ableton.
Why is this handy?
This device is designed to be used on stage or while jamming at home. It gives you a simple visual cue as to where you are within Live’s global quantization clock. The global quantization determines when you’re starting and stopping clips.
How does it work?
1. Add the auto punch out device to any AUDIO track.
2. Click “open” to open a floating windows that stays visible even if you change tracks.
That’s it! The clock with automatically adjust to a GQ setting of 1,2,4, or 8 bars and works with any time signature.
System Requirements: In order to run the punch out devices AND the GQ visualizer at the same time, you should be running at least an i7 chip or equivalent. Slower machines may experience issues with the auto punch out devices while running the GQ visualizer. A more streamlined visualizer is being designed and will be provided at no extra cost to those who purchase this package.
